Get on Board
BEGINNING RIDERS
The basics
We recommend shorter lessons in a more controlled environment for those that may have never ridden a horse before, or it's been several years. This is a great way to get a feel for the animal you'll be working with, and gaining the confidence to build on your skills. This course runs about 3 hours, and can be earlier in the day or later in the evening.
FULL DAY TRAILS
Dive Right In
This course makes for a longer day, and while anyone may participate in the full day trail riding experience, it can prove to be a little nerve-wracking for those hesitant to stray too far from the barn. Due to this ride taking a majority of the day, snacks and drinks will be provided
THE FULL STORY
Axtell Ranches is a generational cattle ranch, currently run by 4th generation Chip Axtell and his wife Jennifer Axtell, with their four children being the 5th generation to grow up in the family business. Buffalo Creek Trail Rides and Tours was formed by Jennifer Axtell and her daughter, Audrey Axtell to give travelers and tourists an opportunity to experience life on the ranch.
